I pionieri
Il Milan Cricket and Foot-Ball Club fu fondato nella Fiaschetteria Toscana di via Berchet, a Milano, da Alfred Edwards and Herbert Kilpin , English with a passion for football , popular in his native England . The foundation of the club was made public by the Gazzetta dello Sport .
Since then the team starts to gain more popularity and prestige. In April the team wins the Medal of Re defeating Juventus Juventus per 2-0 .
The team led by the legendary Captain Kilpin be defeated in the final the following year, at the hands of genoani, and 1906 riuscirà a bissare il titolo. At that time not pulling the penalty shootout, he proceeded to repeat the game: the Federation chose the neutral ground of 'U.S. Milanese in Milan, but the Bianconeri in protest gave up playing. Milan, however, could establish the legitimacy of repeating the exploits of his success the following year (1907 ), this time prevailing in the final round on Torino and Andrea Doria.
In 1908, following of internal strife as to whether or not from registering foreign players, the leadership wing separates from the company founded, the March 9, a new, named International Football Club . In that year, as other teams, AC Milan did not participate in the national championship.
Following the Milantouches the Scudetto in 1911 , and especially in 1912 when it finishes the season one point behind the Pro Vercelli in Pool Lombardo-Piemontese-Ligure , precluding the possibility of an easy final against the winner of the Small Round Pool Veneto-Emiliano .
In 1916 Milan won the Coppa Federal, which in that year somehow replaces the league suspended because of World War . It is not, however, a trophy officially recognized by the FIGC as the Italian title.
